A converging week for physical & digital identity, trust infrastructure, and Agentic AI
Mark your calendars — 30 November to 4 December 2026 in Paris will bring together the identity community across five days of interconnected events:
- 30 November (Monday): OSIA Advisory Committee Meeting
- 1–3 December (Tuesday–Thursday): TRUSTECH Paris, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, featuring the OSIA live interoperability demo amongst vendors over the three days
- 2 December (Wednesday): The ID conference “Shaping Identity as a Sovereign Infrastructure for Growth” frames a day tracing the path from foundational civil registration to trusted digital identity, through sovereign and interoperable identity ecosystems. It covers mobile ID, digital wallets, trust management spanning both humans and agents, and security across documents, credentials, systems and autonomous agents alike.
- 3 December (Thursday): The morning will feature three sessions at TRUSTECH, UNFOLD, Aptitude, and ID Campus, each showcasing its main achievements and live interoperability demos.
- 1–4 December: ITU FG-TIDA F2F Kick Off Meeting, hosted by the French Ministry of the Interior.
- Note the 4 December (Friday): The 3rd edition of the OECD Digital Trust Convention will be hosted at OECD Conference Centre.
Together, these events form Paris Week: a deliberate bridge between the identity/payment ecosystems and the trust and AI community.

About the organizations and initiatives involved:
TRUSTECH is the international trade fair dedicated to payment and identification technologies, held annually at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Organized by Comexposium, it brings together technology providers, financial institutions, public sector organizations, start-ups and international experts around biometrics, digital identity, digital security, cybersecurity and trust technologies — attracting around 8,000 visitors and 200+ exhibitors from over 100 countries.
OSIA (open standards identity APIs, ITU-T X.1281) is the international standard enabling interoperability between the components of national identity systems, developed under the Secure Identity Alliance.
ADIA (Accountable digital ID Architecture for humans and agents) is a technical specification that defines how digital identities — for people and for the AI agents acting on their behalf — can be verified and trusted across systems. It puts accountability at the core of every digital interaction, ensuring that identity claims can always be traced back and confirmed as genuine. ADIA gives organizations a common, secure foundation for issuing and checking digital credentials, from ID documents to diplomas and beyond.
TIDA — The ITU-T Focus Group on Trust and Identity for Humans and Agentic AI — is a pre-standardization initiative under ITU-T Study Group 17 (Security), bringing together industry, academia, and standards bodies to build common terminology, trust frameworks and lifecycle models, reference architectures for identity and agent discovery, and interoperability mechanisms — covering trust and digital identity for humans and agentic AI alike. Launched at AI for Good on 9th July, TIDA was established with a very strong and broad consensus: 42 Member States, 400 participants, 54 countries, 47 companies, 11 Universities. More information at: https://tida.community
SIDI Hub (Sustainable and Interoperable Digital Identity Hub, sidi-hub.community) is a global community of governments, standards bodies, NGOs, private-sector and academic organizations working to a shared roadmap for cross-border digital identity interoperability. UNFOLD is France Identité’s recurring interoperability event for the European Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW) ecosystem, bringing together stakeholders involved in its operational deployment.
Aptitude is the EU-funded Large-Scale Pilot consortium — 141+ public and private partners across 13 European countries — building and testing the European Digital Identity Wallet, coordinated by France Titres.
ID Campus is the European hub for trusted digital identity based in Angers, uniting startups, industry, public actors and researchers to test and deploy sovereign, interoperable solutions compatible with the EUDI Wallet.
