A message from Philippe Barreau, Chairman of the Board, Secure Identity Alliance.

Mr. Efthimios Matsoukis, Managing Director of Veridos Matsoukis Security Printing S.A., passed away one month ago on June 21, 2020. As a close colleague and friend of many of us at Secure Identity Alliance, we were deeply saddened by the news and wish to express our sincere condolences to his family.

Those of us who have had the opportunity to work with Efthimios will remember a true gentleman; intelligent and highly respected. A man with a great vision.
Efthimios helped many of us grow in the security printing industry, and was always available to offer great advice. We would often talk about how our business was unique, and how we needed to shape the security printing element to make it stronger and ensure its relevance in our digital world.

Efthimios certainly played an important role in our industry – not only as the head of Intergraph, but as a true entrepreneur and visionary.

The SIA recognizes the substantial legacy Efthimios leaves behind.
